Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzer is a commonly used laboratory analytical instrument widely applied in various laboratories. It is an instrument widely used in chemical analysis and biochemical research. Its working process mainly includes three basic steps: sample digestion, distillation, and titration.

Routine maintenance is essential for protecting the instrument and reducing its failure rate. The following are the routine maintenance procedures for Kjeldahl apparatus:
I. Clean the Alkali Circuit (Daily)
1. Replace the alkali barrel with a cleaning container filled with distilled water. Tighten the lid. Do not disconnect any tubing.
2. Turn on the power switch, set the functions for adding alkali, adding acid, and distillation, and press the "Run" switch. The instrument's countdown will finish, indicating the alkali circuit cleaning is complete.
II. Clean the Acid Circuit (Regularly)
1. Replace the acid barrel with a cleaning container filled with distilled water. Tighten the lid. Do not disconnect any tubing.
2. Turn on the power switch, set the functions for adding acid, adding alkali, and distillation, and press the "Run" switch. The instrument's countdown will finish, indicating the acid circuit cleaning is complete.
III. Clean the Distillation Cup (Regularly)
1. Open the residual distilled water clamp to drain the residual liquid, then tighten the clamp.
2. Pour 20% glacial acetic acid into the cleaning container, then replace the distilled water container with the cleaning container. Close the lid. Do not disconnect any tubing.
3. Turn on the power switch, set to add alkali, add acid, and distill, press the "Run" button to begin cleaning. Repeat several times until clean, then turn off the power.
4. Open the clamp on the residual distillate outlet to drain the acid, then tighten the clamp.
IV. Clean the Steam Bottle
1. Inject 20% glacial acetic acid into the digestion tube, place the digestion tube on the rack, and close the instrument door. If the dirt is severe, repeat distillation several times until the steam bottle is clean.
2. Inject distilled water into the digestion tube, place the digestion tube on the rack, and close the instrument door. If impurities are still observed in the steam bottle, repeat distillation several times until the acid and impurities in the steam bottle are clean.

Kjeldahl analyzer is characterized by its high precision and reliability, providing accurate nitrogen content data for scientific research. It is suitable for nitrogen content determination in numerous fields, including food, feed, and agricultural soils.
