Tips for using Kjeldahl apparatus

1. If multiple alarms sound during operation, it means that there is a water shortage alarm in the beaker. Check whether the water inlet pipe is normal. Is there enough distilled water?

2. Before starting the machine, check that the distilled water outlet valve is closed.

3. The sample must be completely cooled and diluted before distillation.

4. Make sure that all reagents are within the specified shelf life, otherwise it will affect the experimental results.

5. To avoid interference and ensure the normal operation of the instrument and personal safety, the grounding wire must be strictly connected during operation, and the operator must wear protective gloves as required.

6. During the operation of the instrument, the plexiglass cover outside the digestive tube must be closed.

7. The instrument must be cleaned with clean water after use every day to keep the instrument clean and tidy, including the inside and outside.
