How to solve the problem of no water being added to the distiller of kjeldahl apparatus

Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzers can be widely used in food processing (protein content detection), feed production, animal husbandry (feed, manure), soil and fertilizer (soil, fertilizer), environmental monitoring (sewage, sludge), agriculture, scientific research, teaching and other fields.

The Kjeldahl apparatus, named for its use of the Kjeldahl method to determine nitrogen content, is also commonly referred to as a protein analyzer. How to solve the problem of the distillation apparatus not adding water when starting the nitrogen analyzer?

1. Check for air leaks in the distillation water tank within half a minute of starting the instrument; it's normal if it can be filled with air.

2. Check if the water level in the distillation water tank is above one-third; add water if necessary.

3. Check the position of the distillation water tank; if it's lower than the platform where the instrument is placed, insufficient pressure will prevent water from being added.

4. Check if the air inlet and liquid inlet pipes of the distillation water tank are connected incorrectly; incorrect connections will produce bubbles and noise in the tank.

5. Check the drain valve; it should be in the closed position.
